Master Margherita – The Marginal Rules

Master Margherita has a new album entitled “The Marginal Rules” released on the Italian label, Blue Hour Sounds.

Master Margherita is an electrodelic producer whose music encompasses many dimensions within its spectral realm.  The ever-present groove of his music holds down a space for exploration, always encompassing movement and flow, often in several directions at once!  There are a variety of moods and spaces on the album, from jazzed-up funkatronic breaks to ambient space dreaming journeys.

An absolute favourite is the sublime majesty of “Atesh (Hoele Remix)” which shimmers and sways thru sultry streams of incense and herbal smoke into a mystic mellow of subtle bliss and has been constantly  on our playlists. Check out the album and hey, dig deep and buy some tunes!

Ashirvad – Magic Carpet (Excerpt)

“Ashirvad” is manifest

After a six-month recording tour in India followed by a year production in London and a move to Glastonbury (Avalon), the production Duo of Mathura Das and Darren Sangita, aka Ashirvad have delivered a stunning album that exhibits an extra-ordinary sense of aesthetics both in their art and music.

Featuring a host of talented classical, devotional and folk musicians from India and around the Globe, Ashirvad is a new paradigm in the future of spiritual sounds.

Ashirvad have created an exotic fusion soundscape blending ambient Indian Ragas, subtle electronica and spiritual moods to guide you on a mystical journey to the transcendental realms. Ashirvad is a kaleidoscopic musical pilgrimage across the sacred heartlands of India.  Ashirvad give thanks to all their family, friends and fans for all their support.

Temple of Stars (Omega.v1)

Spectralite unveil “Temple of Stars” (Omega.v1)

This ambient classic has been obscured from view only by the clouds of cosmic dust that prevail afore the arrival of the Photon Belt.  In such a space and time, a certain degree of chaos may reign.  With the blessings of the Universal Resonance we may hear the infinite magic from the Temple of Stars.

This is an Omega.v1 release.  This is raw music, direct from the producers intergalactic studio to you.  Unmastered and still in development, this is a real opportunity to join in with the evolutionary flux and flow of modern music.  If you like what you hear, donate and watch as we aim to develop it even further.

Taking electroacoustic music to a new level of sophistication, this ethereal delight is already something of a connoisseurs classic on the Global ambient electronica scene, having been toured around Europe in previous seasons.  This is the Omega.v1 version of the album which may yet see another incarnation as the hyperspational mapping capabilities of this production team could yet be upgraded once we enter the Photon Belt.  Each piece on this modern hyperspace-age recording tells an epic tale. There are no set-to-repeat digital diamoporhisms here, this is pure geometric isomorphism incontrovertibly elucidating on the nature of existence.

Greg Hunter & Kalahari Surfers – Turntabla

Wonderful news.  This collection of tracks from a decade ago will finally see the light of day.  Some of these tracks have been heard on the ambient scene, unrelesed classics that have certainly been a part of the my DJ sets for the past years.  This lost classic album will feature new, remixes and original tracks from ’98/’99.

Here is a word from Warrick Sony of the Kalahari Surfers.

All sounds were originated by our performances and those of the special sessions which we hosted at the studio. Brendan had left Cape Town and the project by the time of Greg’s second and third visits which saw the pieces morphing into huge sound epics with sampled and performed merging together processed and squeezed into the ether. Strings and things were developed and added at Milestone. Speakers were blown. Greg left with a box of mixes and we resolved to do a track each separately and release it all as a band called PLINC the album Turntabla. Greg was never entirely happy with many of the tracks and the distance and interest made the project difficult to complete for him, other things croppedup and life overtook us all. Robert approached me towards the end of 2007 and asked if I would revisit it as a Kalahari Surfer and finish it off, which I did.
