Temple of Stars (Omega.v1)

Spectralite unveil “Temple of Stars” (Omega.v1)

This ambient classic has been obscured from view only by the clouds of cosmic dust that prevail afore the arrival of the Photon Belt.  In such a space and time, a certain degree of chaos may reign.  With the blessings of the Universal Resonance we may hear the infinite magic from the Temple of Stars.

Download the Album

This is an Omega.v1 release.  This is raw music, direct from the producers intergalactic studio to you.  Unmastered and still in development, this is a real opportunity to join in with the evolutionary flux and flow of modern music.  If you like what you hear, donate and watch as we aim to develop it even further.

Taking electroacoustic music to a new level of sophistication, this ethereal delight is already something of a connoisseurs classic on the Global ambient electronica scene, having been toured around Europe in previous seasons.  This is the Omega.v1 version of the album which may yet see another incarnation as the hyperspational mapping capabilities of this production team could yet be upgraded once we enter the Photon Belt.  Each piece on this modern hyperspace-age recording tells an epic tale. There are no set-to-repeat digital diamoporhisms here, this is pure geometric isomorphism incontrovertibly elucidating on the nature of existence.

Maha Shivratri

We wish you Happy Maha Shivratri 2010

There are many beliefs about Lord Shiva and his night of Maha Shivratri, one of our favourites is that this is the night of Lord Shiva’s Cosmic Dance of the Ananda Tandava (Dance of Bliss).  May his Grace bless you in these days and the dance of bliss extend to all fellow Brothers and Sisters of our Beautiful Planet.

The significance of the Nataraja sculpture is said to be that Siva is shown as the source of all movement within the cosmos, represented by the arch of flames. The purpose of the dance is to release men from illusion, and the place where it is said to have been performed, Chidambaram, called the centre of the universe, is in reality within the heart. The gestures of the dance represent Siva’s five activities (pañcakrtya): creation (symbolized by the drum), protection (by the “fear-not” pose of the hand), destruction (by the fire), embodiment (by the foot planted on the ground), and release (by the foot held aloft).

Electric Sheep

Electric Sheep is an online, collaberative abstract artwork which turns your computer into a node on a global supercomputing network.  Founded by digital artist and programmer, Scott Draves, this screen saver can be downloaded freely and run on any PC or MAC.  While your androids are asleep these digital dreams are created by the computers downloading algorhythms and decoding and rendering them into these illustrious images.  Once blended together on a central server they are then made available for our viewing pleasure.  Whatever the technicalities, these images are sure to delight and enthrall.  Hi tech and incredibly beautiful!!

Ravens Ait

http://ravensait.org.uk/

Ravens Ait is an Island in the River Thames, near Kingston, London.  With a venue built on it several unsuccessful businesses having gone bankrupt and the local authority leaving it derelict for years, the Rainbow Circle Community decided to take it over and begin using it as an Eco-Conference centre and community resourse.  Having visited there recently we were delighted by the various activities, skills sharing, and community workshops happening there.  A wonderful resource for local and international people alike.

Sangita Sounds are honoured to have been invited to host workshops and meditation &  relaxation based music events.  Stay tuned for more news.

Facing Eviction by the local authority, we urge you to take a stand for positive community space.

Ravens Tree Grove

SAVE RAVEN’S AIT ISLAND FOR US ALL

We want Raven’s Ait to be a community centre for you! But we need your support to make it happen. There are lots of ways in which you can get involved or show your support and the first, really easy way is to email, phone or write to Kingston council.

They need to know that the local community and beyond are right behind this project and are ready to demonstrate their solidarity with those eager to keep this island as a productive eco community centre for all.

Just one phone call from you might swing this debate and ensure that this wonderful space is rescued from being sold off to property developers and lost forever.

ACT NOW TO SAVE OUR COMMON LAND!

If you support the vision for Raven’s Ait as an eco community space where we as a collective can put into practice the concepts of sustainable living, permaculture, skills sharing, workshops and providing a community space for groups to meet and network, then PLEASE take five minutes to let the council know how you feel. They don’t know if you don’t tell them.

:: NOODREEM – Leafy  ::

We are interested in the comprehension of the morphological cultural perspectives of sound and music and the vibrational nature of reality as expressed through music, song and dance (“Sangita”).  This is the essence of our focus in our works in the studio space, the live performance space and the indigenous folk spaces of the world.

We believe in the ancient Vedic Yoga of Nada Brahma and involve ourselves in the contemporary search for eternal wisdom and truths through the search for and creation of Sonic Beauty. In connection with the ancient traditions of those who have sung and danced those songs before us, and reaching out to the future vision of humanity as voyagers, through both inner and outer space, we look to the ancient, futuristic song of humanity to understand our place in History.

We are at a unique time in human history, particularly because so many of us have so much access to the knowledge of what our collective journey has been.  This ultimately can only allow true knowledge and understanding to prevail, whereupon we may find ourselves wondering how we ever made it here, considering our collective violent history of wars, dominance, religious and political crusades time and time again.  And if our environmental destruction continues, we stand to lose so much more than the earths precious natural resources.  We will have lost our connection to ourselves. We believe in the healing power of plants and the ability of plants and music to re-connect us to the Creator. We wish for the day when the ancient knowledge of plants is unbound and once again freely used as nature intended.

The essence of our human being is always expressed through our music, and the deepest truths of our being are still being sung of deep in jungles by hunters and shamans, in far off deserts by salt traders and camel herders, in 4000 year old spiritual cities by priests and devotees.  Consciousness is common thread throughout humanity.  Each culture has different words, concepts of consciousness.  So like religions they may at first seem different, but with an expanded consciousness one can see the unity in essence as all are coming from the same source.

We aim to reflect the beauty of all these ancient traditions, and celebrate the new styles of sound design and sophisticated technological music making techniques. We celebrate the fact of the opening of physical, mental and emotional borders, the dissolving of boundaries that is occurring between cultures and people of the earth.  Our vision of the future is one full of Joy, as the sharing and fascination of the interplay between different people and cultures is celebrated and acknowledged.  Like a Kaleidoscopic crystal, our Earth populated by so many different people who are yet essentially, so similar!  We can all experience the bliss of our human unity, we can all share in this unique experience of being alive in this world, our Earth.  The Creator has given us this wonderful home to Love One Another, to know the joy of living, to experience the bliss of this existence, our Human being.
