The Harir Band is a Moroccan ensemble based in London. They play the Andalucian Music style which is the classical music of North Africa. Their ensemble features Vocals, Violin, Oud, Darbouka, Daf, Quarter-Tone Keyboards and sometimes guitar.
Their hypnotic traditional rhythms fused with irrisistible melody lines from Abdel on Violin create a uniquely sensuous and mellifluous experience.
They have played many concerts and events in and around London. Their sound is a sophisticated multi-layered music, merging pulsating rhythms with colourful melodic lines led by Abdel Harir on Violin. Their music is suitable for a variety of events, large or small.
