We are delighted to hear the news that Bahauddin Dagar will be playing two programs in the UK this December.  This master of the arts plays Rudra Veena and the mystic tones and timbres that emanate from his skillful hands are sure to create perfect space for transcendental magic.  A rare and exciting opportunity to tune into the echoes of time, and allow the ripples of sound that emanate from his playing bathe you in Sonic Blissful Consciousness.

Baha’ud-din Dagar, son of the legendary Rudra Veena maestro Ustad Zia Mohiuddin Dagar, belongs to the 20th generation of the Dagar family.  He is the nephew of the renowned vocalist Ustad Zia Fariduddin Dagar.

He started his training on the sitar under the tutelage of his mother Smt Pramila Dagar at the  age of seven. After three years of initial training he went on to learn the Surbahar and then the Rudra Veena under his father.Ustad Zia Mohiuddin Dagar After the demise of his father in 1990 ,he continues to learn from his uncle Ustad Zia Fariduddin Dagar.
